I've crocheted giant versions of how Poliovirus, which causes the Polio infections , appears under an electron microscope. Big artistic liberties have been taken with form, colour, size and the fact that they they would never be grown in a lab on a petri dish! The aim is to make these microscopic virus vibrant, visible and engaging.

The dish comes with a detachable lid.
