Between 2020-2022 I studied for an MSc in Public Health & Health Promotion at Bangor University, Wales. I graduated (with Distinction) in December 2022. The course was challenging, thought-provoking and convinced me more than ever that prevention and effective health communication are incredibly important! My big dissertation topic was 'Menopause and the Workplace: How are women disadvantaged by the menopause in the workplace and how can this health inequality be addressed?'. I chose this topic because women's health is consistently under-resourced and under-regarded, by the medical profession, and
society generally. The finished paper scored very highly and there was encouragment to try to disseminate my findings e.g. in an academic journal. This seemed an off-puttingly long and difficult process so I've just sat on it since I completion in September 2022. I am however, proud of the finished paper and feel it is still very relevent to the current situation, so share it here for anyone to read, hopefully to be of some use.  (Please note: It has been published through anti-plagurism tools so plagurism will be spotted, and is strictly prohibited!).

It is a scientific paper so for the lay reader it is advised you read just the Introduction (8-13) and Discussion (42-54), or you may get bogged down in dull but necessary information about methodologies etc!
