My piece 'What's In The Water?' will be on display in the Storiel Open exhibition, Bangor, North Wales from 01/02/2025

A comment on the fact that the UK is currently one of the worst countries in Europe for water quality, with the deliberate discharging of raw sewage into our rivers and seas by water companies being a major cause. This disturbing (but technically legal) problem has become a highly charged health, environmental and political issue. Shown here are 7 pathogens now regularly found in UK waters, all of which are causing increased levels of illness, clockwise from top: E.coli bacteria, Hepatitis A virus, Campylobacter bacteria, Giardia parasite, Polio virus, Leptospira bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus bacteria.
