Anatomical Medium Heart- Hot Pinks

This soft sculpture anatomical heart is designed as a unique art work. Made to my own design and pattern, the heart is fairly anatomically correct (but not strictly, it is intended as a piece of art, not teaching aid!).

The heart is crocheted in pinks and turqouise yarns for a brighter, less traditonal coloured heart. Needle felted details have been added onto the surface with fleece, then the heart has been lightly stuffed.

This is a slightly larger than life sized heart (usually they are about the size of a large fist) and measures around 15cm tall by 11cm wide. It has a depth of around 5cm. There is a hanging loop on the back, ideal for hanging from a wall nail. As each heart is made by hand, please be aware there are slight variations.

If like me, you are fascinated with anatomy, this makes an ideal and quirky piece of wall art or ideal for putting under a glass dome in a study or on a mantle-piece. It would make a great gift for those cardiologists and other medical professionals in your life!
