Anatomical Heart Brooch- Heart of The Forest

This soft sculpture anatomical heart brooch is designed as a unique brooch and mini art work. Made to my own design and pattern, the heart is fairly anatomically correct (but not strictly, it is intended as a piece of art, not teaching aid!).

The heart is crocheted in green yarns with needle felted details added onto the surface with fleece, then lightly stuffed. Two little crochet and needle felted toadstools have been added to hint at the wonders found hidden in the forest.

The heart brooch measures approximately 7cm tall by 5.5cm wide. It has a depth of around 2cm. There is brooch bar fastening sewn on the back. As each brooch is made by hand, please be aware there are slight variations. It is a scaled down version of  the very  large 'Heart of the Forest' wall heart, both shown together in photo 2.
